Jamie L. Newman

Jamie L. Newman is a retired U.S. Air Force Command Chief Master Sergeant with over 31 years of experience leading and developing people and organizations around the world. His career included combat deployments supporting Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, nine years assigned overseas, and operations across more than 63 countries while working alongside U.S. and international military partners.

A U.S. Army Ranger and Airborne- and Jumpmaster-qualified leader, Jamie served as a Ranger instructor and at the Air Mobility Warfare Center, now the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center. His career spanned frontline combat operations, instruction and training, organizational leadership, and senior executive advising. He concluded his military service as the Command Chief Master Sergeant of Air Mobility Command, helping lead and develop a global force of more than 100,000 Airmen operating worldwide.

Jamie holds three college degrees and has dedicated much of his career to teaching, mentoring, and developing leaders. As a Trailhead Leadership Institute faculty member, he brings a practical leadership philosophy grounded in trust, accountability, resilience, and developing people to perform when it matters most.
