Joshua Hurt is the Director of Curriculum and Faculty Development at Trailhead Institute. He is a retired Command Chief Master Sergeant with over 26 years of operational, staff, and leadership experience in the United States Air Force.

During his military career, Joshua served as Chief of Enlisted Force Development at the Pentagon, Command Chief at Eielson Air Force Base, and in multiple Group and Squadron Superintendent roles. He also served as an instructor at the Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Academy and in leadership roles within Aircraft Maintenance.

Following his service, Joshua worked as an Organizational and Leadership Development Professional at Rice University, leading programs focused on coaching, performance, and building a learning organization.

Today, he develops leaders through practical, experience-driven learning at Trailhead Institute and through his consulting and coaching work with Full Benefit Leadership LLC.

Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University, multiple Associate Degrees from the Community College of the Air Force, and certifications including Birkman Assessment, SHRM-SCP and Master Coach credentials.
