Mark Nemish

Mark Nemish is a Strategic Programs Analyst, Presenter and Moderator for the Small Business Consulting Corporation. Mark retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after twenty-one years in the United States Air Force serving through various assignments in operations, program management and leadership and professional development.

Mark served as a nuclear Intercontinental Ballistic Missile operator and instructor at Malmstrom AFB, Montana and Offutt AFB, Nebraska. He managed several multi-million dollar programs at Hill AFB, Utah, Vandenberg AFB, California and Offutt AFB, Nebraska. Additionally, he was the Chief of standardization and evaluation for spacelift operations at Vandenberg AFB, California. Mark also served as an academic instructor for Air Command and Staff College at Maxwell AFB, Alabama. Mark spent his final years on active duty at Air Force Global Strike Command as the Deputy Chief for leadership and professional development before retiring in September of 2018 at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana.

Mark is married to Colonel (retired) Kristen Nemish. They have two children, Emma and CJ, and live in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mark enjoys writing and recording music, going to concerts, watching college football and cheering his kids on at their various activities. Mark has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from The University of Alabama, a Masters degree in Human Resource Management from Troy University and a Master of Military Operational Art and Science degree from Air Command and Staff College at Air University. He holds certifications for Level I and II Program Management and is a Certified Practitioner for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
