Matthew Franchetti

Matthew Franchetti is the Air Force Global Strike Command Integrated Product Team Lead for the Small Business Consulting Corporation. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with 21 dazzling years of nuclear and missile operations, deterrence, and acquisition leadership.

His varied and distinguished career provided experience in strategy, team leadership and coaching, managing large-scale programs, and cultural/organizational change. His time included the adrenaline of over 300 nuclear alerts and clocking more than 2,000 hours in evaluation and training; navigating the intricacies of Minuteman III acquisitions, logistics, and sustainment; blending the thrills of operational and developmental tests for nuclear programs; and managing complex arms control and treaty relationships worldwide.

He holds two Master’s: Military Operational Art and Science from Air University, and International Relations and Conflict Resolution from American Military University. Also, he’s a certified practitioner in Test and Evaluation, Acquisition Program Management (Level II), Air Force Treaty Compliance, and Toastmasters.

Matt’s varied career led him to the love of his life, and together they served the Nation, built a beautiful family, and strived to improve themselves and others daily by learning in all ways, always!
